Just sending a little joy your way.

Hope you have a very joyful week.

Hope this is off to a good start for the week.  I know I have been very busy today trying to make sense out of my house.  It feels good to begin to get things straightened out.  But I need a poster like this sometimes.  We get so busy being productive, that we forget to take time to “play.”  If you ever have doubts about God enjoying play, just take a look at the platypus.  I think it was created just to keep us guessing.

This will be an interesting week for me.  Last week I was at the seminar about the new Reading Program.  So tomorrow, since it is the first day of the new semester, I’m going to start putting some of the ideas in place.  Just a bit scary to try something new halfway through the school year.  They have asked me to be a Lead Teacher for the program in our conference next year, so I figured I’d better get moving on it now.  Please keep me in your prayers.  Thank you.

Have a “playful” week!!!

This has been a crazy week.  I was gone to a seminar on Monday and Tuesday.  Have been trying to catch ever since.  Some weeks I just a relief to finish!  We did finish up the floor in our bedroom.  That is very nice.  My poster is more for me than anything.  I needed those whiskers!!

Hope you all had wonderful Christmas and New Years.  I’m back to putting in new flooring again.  We are half way done in our bedroom.  So things are pretty disorganized around here.  I guess things get worse before they get better.
Over New Years we were in Monterey for the annual Spiritual Renaissance Retreat.  They had invited an expert on C.S. Lewis to give several presentations.  They were very good!  Also went over to the Aquarium.  Took several (300+) pictures.  Trashed most of them, but was pretty happy with some of them.  You will most likely see some of them show up on posters.
In looking over some of the material on C.S. Lewis, I came across this quote.  It made a great fit for the photo of a park in Norway.  I’m so glad this in one rumor we can count on to be true!
